Introducing Paddock Space Seamless Walling Plus+
During the second half of 2020, we as a business put immense effort into developing a new seamless walling system for the motorsport market and beyond.
We’ve collaborated with an engineering consultant on this project to deliver against a brief that was - simple, affordable and easy to assemble. The ease of assembly was a USP we wanted to over-deliver on. We knew we didn’t want there to be a need for a host of tools for build and break-down so that set-up and pack downtime at the track could be drastically reduced.
The result is Paddock Space Seamless Walling Plus+. A solid 2200mm H x 1200mm W
panel offering double-sided walling with high-density foam core and gloss PVC skins. The system is assembled and joins using a unique Paddock Space tongue and groove system.
In addition, L and T sections have been developed for two and three-way direction changes together with routed doorway panels. An optional, bespoke flight case with PVC panel runners is available to secure and transport the PS Seamless Walling Plus+ panels.
Besides being obsessed with being easy to build, we gave special attention to the secure system, particularly important for race teams operating under an awning. To this end, we incorporated the following features;
2mm plate located on the top of a panel creates a physical join between two standard panels. An ‘L’ variant of the plate joins a 90-degree corner brace to further secure panel returns; for example, doorway to return panel stiffens the walling system
T piece with 200mm return panel can be placed behind sidewalls or back walls to further aid stability
Eyelets can be threaded into panel tops to cable tie back from
The first batch of customer deliveries of the Paddock Space Seamless Walling Plus+ took place just before the IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring for JDC-Miller Motorsports in the DPi class together with Heart of Racing, competing in GTD.
